The XT series is D'Addario's first strings with a super thin protective coating. The strings offer extended life, increased strength, and tuning stability while retaining the feel and tone of your favorite non-coated strings.
The XT series bass strings are coated with a super-thin layer of protective coating. The layer is not felt at all when playing and does not change the usual sound of the strings.
The XTC46TT set combines the first Pro-Arte titanium strings with silver plated Dynacore bass strings.
