Gibson® started using 300k potentiometerss approximately in 1977 and continues using them to this day in one form or another. WD® acquired these original OEM pots from Gibson®’s supplier and they are available until stock runs out. These are linear taper, long bushing (3/4 in.) pots and have the Gibson® logo stamped on the housing. The tolerance on these potentiomers is 20%.
