In 1981, Schaller developed and received a patent for a completely new product category that revolutionized the field of guitar strap fixation. Thanks to the unique design and functionality of this product, called streplokami, the company has set a standard that has been followed for several decades. In 2018, Schaller offered an updated design and improved functionality of its legendary invention, paving the way for a new generation of streplocks.
The new revolutionary S-locks are now silent, equipped with an elegant Lock-Wheel lock washer and a holder combined with a self-tapping screw. Aesthetic design and exceptional comfort in familiar outlines!
Belt holder:A new, unique one-piece design made of hardened steel, combined with a self-tapping screw (diameter 4 mm, length 22 mm) is now fixed to the guitar with a hex key (size 3 mm) instead of a regular screwdriver. Perfect replacement for holders on Gibson guitars. The kit also includes 2 felt pads to protect the paint and varnish coating.
Lock mechanism:Increased washer thread up to 6 mm, new beveled locking bolt design and a convenient ball lock mechanism for easy and quick fixing.
Lock-Wheel Washer:The washer has a 3-step protection function.
1) You can now tighten the washer with your hands, you do not need keys. Now there are no sharp edges, and therefore no danger to the tool2) Use a 2 mm wrench as a lever to tighten the washer more tightly 3) Finally fix the washer with a special micro-screw under a flat screwdriver.
Now the streplock will not be unwound and will not be lost!
Install the entire construction with the strap on the guitar, shake and listen. There is no rattling and rattling!
