Split a single mono signal into two for use with stereo systems, or use as a channel switch and switch between two outputs.
The comprehensive channel switch pedal can switch a single-ended signal to two different outputs, applicable for instrument circuit, amplifier, speaker (be sure to use a speaker cable) and pedalboard.
Mode select switch design, which can switch A and B channels respectively at the same time.
In both modes, the ABY can be used in either the positive or negative direction, the signal path can go from A/B to Y or from Y to A/B.
This uncomplicated, device, which takes up minimal pedalboard space, allows you to accomplish a multitude of tasks:
Connecting one guitar to two amps with the ability to switch between them (Y -> A/B), e.g. one working on the clean channel and the other on the overdrive or lead channel. Including separate effects circuits for each of the amps.
Connect a guitar to a vintage amp like Marshall Plexi, Vox AC30/6, Fender Blackface (Y -> A/B), where each channel has separate inputs and no switching is provided.
Connect two acoustic cabinets to one head (Y -> A/B), with the possibility to switch between them. Keep in mind that you will need speaker (two-core) cords, not instrument (coaxial) cords for the connection.
Connect two guitars or basses to the same amp (A/B -> Y) to change instruments at a gig (Strat to Les Paul, six-string to twelve-string, fretless bass to fretless, etc.).
To mute an instrument, or silently tune (Y -> A/B) by outputting one of the signals to the tuner.
You can even use it as a footswitch (A/B -> Y), switching amp channels when you don't have a native one handy. Just plug a jack with shorted contacts into the A or B jack.
And that's just a small part of situations where the Mooer Micro ABY MKII line selector will help you out. Everything is limited only by your imagination.
