AMT Electronics presents a new device – AMT U-2 Pangaea Ultima Brain Frame.
The device is a hardware platform on the basis of which various guitar effects can be implemented programmatically. Changing the functionality of the device is carried out by changing the "firmware" of the device. This device complements the AMT Bricks series of devices.
The AMT Bricks series includes various devices (preamps, effect pedals, noise cancellers, cabinet simulators, device control controllers, pedalboards, etc.). The factor uniting the devices of the AMT Bricks series is their constructive and functional compatibility. Most of the devices in the series can be used both independently and together.

TYPES OF FIRMWARE
At the moment, the following types of firmware for the AMT Pangaea U-2 Ultima device are available on the downloads page:

01 - IR CabSim Fx
The main firmware supplied with the device by default.
A distinctive feature is the presence of an analog preamp section with three channels: wedge, crunch and highgain.

02 - Modulation FX
The firmware that turns the Ultima into an effects processor is designed for the case when your pedalboard, where preamp/ overload pedals are already available, requires an expansion of the sound palette due to various modulation effects.

03 - IR Stereo CabSim
Firmware that turns the device into a full-fledged pulse stereo IR cabinet emulator.

04 - Stereo Delay
This firmware allows you to use the device as a functionally rich STEREO IN/OUT Delay effect pedal with TAP Tempo function.

05 - Stereo Reverb
With this firmware, you can easily make the Ultima U-2 into a powerful Stereo Reverb. Multifunctional STEREO IN/OUT effect, including the following types of reverberation:

Room
Plate
Spring
Gate
Reverse

06 - Pre/Post FX
Firmware that allows you to switch the Ultima U-2 device with external preamps / overload pedals in such a way that part of the effects (like a compressor or a "croak") always end up in front of the external preamp (PRE) section, while the other part of the Ultima effects will be located in the guitar signal circuit after the external preamp (POST) section.
