Three-touch hammer keyboard.

The new Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II responds by activating the system with three sensors that sequentially detect key touches.
Simulated ebony and ivory keys for comfortable playing.

The 88-key String Resonance function provides deep and rich resonance.
The sound of an acoustic piano is not just the sound associated with striking the keys. The strings, with frequencies closely related to those that produce the sound, also resonate, adding their own sound to give the music a uniquely rich resonance. In conventional digital pianos, this string resonance effect is virtually reproduced by the strings. AiR's multi-dimensional sound source system takes the approach by adopting a "string resonance" system that includes a stereo resonance simulator for all 88 keys. The resonance of the 88 keys is reproduced fully and naturally. The resonance realized when playing a single tone is different from the resonance realized when playing a chord, in order to naturally reproduce the resulting variations in resonance. This even allows performers to achieve different resonances, controlling them at will with the power of touch, and thus realizing a performance with the unique expressiveness of an acoustic piano.
Key Off simulator that reproduces tonal variations as a result of releasing a key.
The duration of reverberation and expression produced by the piano varies according to the speed at which the performer releases his or her finger after touching the key. The new keyboard includes a pressure simulator that naturally reproduces these nuances that occur when the key is released. The result is the expression of authentic reverberations that feel exactly like those of a grand piano.
Damper Pedal Resonance.
The deep, beautiful resonance resulting from the damper pedal is also naturally reproduced by the stereophonic resonance simulator on all 88 keys, which is different from the usual simulated playback using effects.
