The new Responsive Hammer III (RHIII) mechanics recreates the characteristic touch of a real acoustic grand piano. The very natural keyboard action and three high fidelity sensor technology provides excellent responsiveness for dynamic and realistic performance. The keyboard's gravity gradient reflects the weight distribution of the acoustic piano's hammers: lower octave keys require more pressure and upper octave keys require less, while structural reinforcement of the mechanics increases stability for fortissimo and staccato playing.
The CN29 Digital Piano also features Ivory Touch, a unique ivory-like coating on the keys. It absorbs moisture and prevents your fingers from slipping while playing. The let-off function simulates the "step" of softly pressing the keys as you would on an acoustic grand piano, thus meeting the expectations of the most demanding pianists.

The sound of both instruments has been carefully recorded and faithfully reproduced by sampling each of the 88 keys using Harmonic Imaging technology. This unique technology provides an accurate recreation of the wide dynamic range of the original grand piano, allowing the performer to develop an extraordinary level of expression from soft delicate pianissimo to powerful energetic fortissimo.

The CN29 digital piano's built-in memory allows you to record up to three songs. You can play the song you want at the touch of a button. The learning function allows the most motivated players to hone their skills with a collection of Czerny and Burgmüller etudes and pieces from the famous Alfred Music textbooks. You can learn the right and left hand parts separately and change the tempo of the piece to practice the most difficult parts.
