Rich variety of high-quality voices.
The PSR-E373 features Yamaha's latest tone generator, providing the best sound quality available for an entry-level keyboard. Enjoy 622 stunning voices, including guitar, bass, strings, saxophone, trumpet, drums and percussion, as well as piano, organ and other classic keyboard instruments. You can even layer two different voices across the entire keyboard, allowing you to create your own unique combinations.
Super Articulation Lite Voices.
Super Articulation Lite voices reproduce the unique nuances heard when playing certain acoustic instruments that you normally can't achieve on keyboards. For example, if you select a guitar tone, you can realistically reproduce sounds such as the noise of the fretboard or the harmonics of nylon guitar strings.
Force-sensitive keys for expressive dynamic control.
Enjoy playing on a keyboard that accurately reflects every nuance of your playing, making your performance more musically expressive. Press the keys hard to get louder tones, or softly to get quieter sounds for true dynamic control over your music.
Applying effects to your playing.
The PSR-E373 is equipped with a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) that lets you apply a variety of studio-quality effects to shape the sound to your liking.
Utilizing the Styles function.
The PSR-E373 supports Auto Accompaniment styles, which automatically plays the appropriate accompaniment (rhythm + bass + chord accompaniment) that you can control by playing the first step of a chord or chords with your left hand.
Smart Chord function.
Choose between two ways to play chords: Smart Chord, which lets you play lush-sounding chords with one finger, or Multi, which lets you play chords using normal fingering. Smart Chord allows you to play more complex chord harmony using simple techniques, so your performances will sound great no matter what your skill level.
Arpeggio function.
When the arpeggio function is turned on, the chords you play are transformed into a variety of musical phrases and rhythms. Each tone has a default arpeggio type, but you can experiment by changing the type, giving you complete control over your creativity!
Lesson Feature: "Keys to Success".
The "Keys to Success" feature is based on the teaching methods that Yamaha has used over the years. You can select just the key phrases of the Song - the ones you like best or need to work on - and practice them one by one. This kind of learning is ideal for beginning musicians.
Each song consists of several steps. Each time you go through the entire current step, your performance will be graded.

Play with a partner.
When Duo mode is activated, the keyboard splits in half and automatically adjusts the playing range so that each half has a C note of the first octave. This allows duo playing or two students to practice or learn together in class.
Backlit LCD display.
The backlit LCD display makes it easy to read in all lighting conditions, both indoors and outdoors. It also features a velocity meter that provides a visual representation of the playing force on the keyboard, which is a handy tool when using the Touch Tutor function to develop playing technique.
