Developed by Seymour in the early 70s, the London recipe P.A.F. rewind, which decorated the guitars of some of the most famous British artists of the time.
Before Seymour started his own business, he worked at London's Fender Soundhouse. This was when The Yardbirds were kings, and Seymour became friends with some of his favorite musicians and rewound pickups for them when they needed it. One of these custom rewind recipes ended up in a very special player, and as a result of Seymour's careful recording, this pickup still exists today.
The recipe for this pickup set starts with a roughly cast alnico 5 magnet, plain enameled wire and a unique Seymour winding pattern. The bridge is made in vintage style - with a DC resistance of 8.78 K, and the neck is just as powerful at 8.20 K. Roughly cast magnets add warmth and balance, making everything sound more voluminous. The uniqueness of Lotta Humbucker pickups is that they boost the amplifier and give your sound a very light natural compression and sustain.
The Whole Lotta humbuckers, hand-made in Santa Barbara, California, use a roughly cast 5 bar alnico magnet, a nickel silver bottom plate, a 4-wire lead wire for various connection options, and they are coated with wax to work without squeaking.
Our team of craftsmen is proud to develop our products to create the most amazing sound possible.
