Take your Stratocaster on a journey through decades of original genre tones defining rock, surf, country and blues with vintage Antiquity II Surfer pickups for the Stratocaster. The Antiquity II Surf analog pickup provides a smoothness and sonorous elasticity that only a Stratocaster can create. Specially calibrated Alnico 5 rod magnets and a coil with a special winding give the attack of high frequencies a refined sweetness without loss of harmonic brilliance. The middle pickup included has RW/RP (reverse winding/reverse polarity) for perfect silent clacking.

The Antiquity II Surfer Strat bridge pickup is wound to have additional midrange frequencies and power output for greater versatility. Due to the winding, the number of medium frequencies increases, and the demagnetization of Alnico 5 rod magnets slightly softens the attack of high frequencies. With such a pickup, the solos will sound more musical, and the chords will ring with the perfect amount of midrange brilliance.

Hand-assembled in California, at the Custom Shop each pickup is aged to look and sound like the original of the 1960s. Vintage blue-yellow fabric wires, light gray bottom plates and custom-aged covers are used in the assembly to create the desired appearance.
