Big sound, small size

What's great about the iRig Mic Studio is that it offers truly amazing recording quality in a body smaller than an iPhone. It has a large 1-inch back-electret condenser capsule, a high quality 24-bit ADC (with a 44.1/48kHz sample rate), and a built-in low-noise, high-resolution preamplifier. This, combined with a noise level of 133 dB SPL, ensures optimal recording at any sound pressure level - it can capture everything from the subtle and detailed dynamics of the human voice to the full richness of amplified electric guitar and everything in between.

A full range of controls

To ensure the best recording experience, the iRig Mic Studio comes with a full set of flexible controls: it has a gain knob and a multi-color LED level indicator. It also includes a headphone output with its own level control for in-line monitoring directly from the iRig Mic Studio itself. And, for better positioning during recording, the iRig Mic Studio comes with a sturdy, portable table stand.

All of this means the iRig Mic Studio is equipped with everything you need to record the highest quality audio whether you're at home in the studio or recording on the road.

It's all about connectivity

The iRig Mic Studio is compatible with all your favorite mobile and desktop platforms. It has a micro-USB port, and comes with several cables: micro-USB to Lightning for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch; micro-USB to micro-USB OTG for Android (Android 5 or Samsung Professional Audio device required); and micro-USB to USB for Mac and PC. A micro-USB to 30-pin micro-USB cable is available separately for older iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models.

Recording using apps

For immediate recording, iRig Mic Studio features a powerful suite of apps that make it cross-platform compatible.

iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users will enjoy VocaLive, a powerful effects processor and multitrack recording app featuring 12 professional vocal effects in real time.

EZ Voice for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and EZ Voice for Android are upgraded and easy-to-use programs that allow vocalists to practice any song in their music library.

iRig Recorder for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch and iRig Recorder for Android are simple apps for field recording, podcasting, note taking and more.

Mic Room is a microphone modeling app for iPhone and iPad.

IRig Mic Studio is also fully compatible with a wide range of third-party apps and software such as Cubasis, ProStudio Vocal FX, MultiTrack DAW and more. It is also compatible with Apple's GarageBand and Logic Pro X apps, as well as iOS Voice Memo.
