The condenser microphone features a wide diaphragm capsule and cardioid directivity. The microphone is designed for studio recording of vocals or musical instruments. Perfect as a universal microphone for professional or home studios.

Due to the horizontal positioning of the capsule relative to the microphone axis, the sound wave has a lower reflection coefficient, which minimizes the possibility of distortion. A gold-plated diaphragm paired with a precision brass substrate creates a unique frequency response in the upper part of the spectrum, which makes the sound expressive and detailed. The microphone creates the effect of presence.

The MK-102 microphone design consists of two main modules: a traditionally shaped pre-microphone amplifier and a screw-on wide-membrane cardioid capsule. It also includes a -10 dB attenuator and a swivel holder.

The microphone is powered by a 48V phantom circuit.
