The MKE-2 microphone uses electret film to create an acoustic signal. Unlike conventional condenser microphones, electret microphones are less affected by temperature and humidity changes, and therefore they are very convenient for work in the field.

Electret condenser microphone MKE-2 has retained all the best working qualities of its namesake predecessor. At the same time, Oktava specialists have made it more modern and convenient by equipping it with 48 V phantom power supply.

MKE-2 microphone is perfect for both professional and home recording studios. You can successfully use it as a stage microphone, or set it for recording in the studio.

Thanks to its cardioid pattern, the MKE-2 is indispensable when recording a sound source located in front of the microphone and remains "deaf" to noise from the rear side.
