The SC205 is a two-way speaker system with a 5-inch SilverCone woofer. With its extended bass range and amazing output level, the SC205 will easily fill a room with exceptional sound.
The SC205 also features convenient threaded inserts on the bottom and back.

So you can mount the SC205 on a conventional microphone or speaker stand, or use the rear panel for a variety of wall-mounting options.

The SC205 utilizes a 5" SilverCone bass driver with a honeycomb diaphragm structure driven by a sophisticated low-distortion magnetic system and a 1" voice coil responsible for creating more linear travel. This results in greater dynamics than would be expected in a monitor of such small dimensions.

As a result, in addition to the unrivaled transparency of the patented combination of AMT tweeter and PWM amplifier, the SC205 will surprise you with a very powerful, tight and accurate lower range.

The AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter is EVE Audio's own patented technology, which follows the rule of not using generic components to achieve the best possible results. Accuracy and detail in the treble, along with overall bass and midrange density, make the SC205 equally suitable for use on the road or in the studio.

All EVE Audio speakers are equipped with a digital signal processor. With a single touch, you have access to precise volume control and several different filter settings to help you tailor the system to your working style.

If you avoid digital processing, that's okay. The processor's operation is supported by Burr-Brown's high-quality analog-to-digital converter (24-bit/192kHz), which sends the clean signal to the signal processing section. And because the PWM amplifiers are directly connected to the processor, no additional conversion is required.

The design of the phase inverter.
It's all about geometry. One of the disadvantages of a phase-inverter port is low frequency distortion. As volume increases, efficiency decreases and distortion increases.

EVE Audio chose a large rectangular opening with smoothed edges on the back of the system. This is one of the reasons EVE speakers have high efficiency at low frequencies.

What's the result? High sound pressure with tight and sharp bass frequencies that are distortion free. Turn up the volume and the EVE will produce rounded bass. And without the holes you see every time you glance at a speaker system.
