Tune-O-Matic Bridge
The Hipshot Tone-a-Matic fixed breeches have opened a new page in the history of the two support breeches. Designed to replace Nashville or Epiphone breeches, the Hipshot Tone-a-matic has a number of the following features:
Manufactured with high precision aircraft aluminum equipment to improve sustain and tone;
Unique stainless steel saddles are pressed tightly against the base of the bridge, eliminating the slightest rattle, resulting in all the energy of the string is directed to the sound;
The bridge platform can be adjusted horizontally and tightly fixed to the supports by means of a small built-in screw;
More than half an inch of tonal range adjustment when using very thick strings;
The string holder stays on the supports even when there are no strings thanks to the built in magnetic inserts;
All supports are adjustable with a 1/8 " key, no more pliers or screwdrivers needed.
