Elixir Nanoweb 12052 (10 – 46) strings are not only about sound, but also about technology!
In addition to the classic electric guitar string production scheme, a super-thin AntiRust coating with a thickness of about 5 microns is applied to the winding, which does not impair the tonal characteristics of the string, but provides it with the necessary protection. It is no secret that the deterioration of the sound of the string and its destruction is primarily due to the accumulation of dirt and grease between the turns of the winding, as well as corrosion due to moisture. The protective coating does not wear off when playing, but it completely solves this problem!

1. Покрытия Nanoweb и Polyweb значительно ослабляют мерзкий свист обмотанных струн при резкой смене позиции и вообще призвуки от движений пальцев по обмотке, в результате чего игра становится значительно чище. Optiweb, к сожалению, этого преимущества не имеет, поэтому я ими принципиально не пользуюсь.
2. Многие впервые попробовавшие Elixir, расстраиваются из-за появления \"махров\" покрытия в районе звукоснимателей. Во-первых, ребят, может, не стоит играть на гитаре как будто викинги фигачат топором? На моём полугодовалом комплекте 10-46 покрытие целое по всей длине. Во-вторых, эти махры никак на звук не влияют ни на басу, ни на гитаре. Грязь с ваших пальцев, зажимающих струны и делающих глиссандо - вот что на самом деле ухудшает звук струн, и грязь эту из обычных струн не вытравить ни кипячением, ни мытьём с Фэйри.
Всё вышеперечисленное относится, естественно, к оригинальным Elixir, а не к китайским подделкам, продаваемым на Али по пять копеек пучок.

Главное не пытаться протирать их каким-то средствами для чистки струн или спиртом, т.к. испортите защитное покрытие.
