B-1 Legend Amps, B1 Guitar Preamp

The B1 preamp was created for fans of the Sharp-channel sound of the famous Bogner TripleGiant amplifier. The elastic punch and bright, dynamic clanking sound of this German amplifier are fully invested in the sound of the B1 preamp.

The line of unique single-channel preamps was developed by AMT Electronics using JFET transistors. Thanks to modern technologies and original schemes, Legend Amps preamps create guitar sound in a fundamentally different way. AMT specialists managed to achieve an exceptionally realistic imitation of the sound of iconic tube amplifiers and preamps. At the same time, transistor guitar preamps LA have all the positive qualities characteristic of devices using semiconductors – compact size, low electricity consumption and light weight.

Advantages at a glance of single-channel guitar preamps of the Legend amps series:

• The sound and dynamics do not differ from similar characteristics of tube preamps: powerful, rich, juicy sound, excellent readability in all frequency ranges, a large gain margin.
• The reaction to the increase in sensitivity identical to the lamp primps - the number of limiting cascades is gradually increasing.
• Adjustments of the timbral formation are similar to those existing in real tube preamps.
• Adjustable output signal level (+10dB) allows you to connect guitar preamps of the LA series to various inputs (RETURN, DIRECT, LINE, etc.), including the INPUT POWER AMP input of the power amplifier.
• Passive bypass is used.
• Two outputs: OUT and CAB.SIM (output for "in-line" operation).
