Geezer Butler- one of the pioneers of rock and roll - his growling bass tones and heavy, swinging parts helped define entire genres of hard rock and heavy metal. As the first bassist to ever record with a wow-wow pedal, Geezer was the only natural choice when it came to developing the first signature Cry Baby bass pedal.
The Geezer Butler Cry Baby Bass Wah pedal is specially designed to complement the iconic Geezer sound — a powerful massive bass with a mid-range that cuts through the mix. Dunlop took the aggressive Cry Baby 95Q Wah pedal and modified it so that from the heel-down position, custom circuits mixed with the right amount of your dry signal. Approaching the toe-down position smoothly removes the dry signal to highlight the aggressive part of the wow-wow range. If you want to adjust the shape of the frequency bandwidth, simply remove the bottom plate and use the internal Q control, whose default position corresponds to Geezer's preferences.
The Geezer Butler Cry Baby Wah pedal sounds exactly according to Geezer's wishes and is equipped with a convenient automatic return, allowing you to easily turn on and off the effect. It is identical to the pedal that Geezer Butler uses in her performances.
