Duotime is a stereo delay pedal with independent time/fraction and repeat controls. In the 80s, all professional musicians used rake effects for stereo exposure. It was the golden era of such legendary engineering as Lexicon Delta, TC 2290, Eventide H3000 and others. When Nux talked to "working musicians", they found that they were looking for stereo speakers with compact dimensions and ultra-simple controls. Therefore, absolutely necessary requirements were discussed and a Duotime double delay mechanism was developed. It is ultra-musical and easy to operate.
Duotime offers analog delay, tape echo, digital delay, modulation delay.

Analog Delay
The analog delay (40 ms - 402 ms) is based on a device with a CCD of the "fire brigade" type (BBD), an analog delay with discrete time. PARAMETER adjusts the modulation depth. When LEVEL and REPEAT are set to maximum, set the TIME KNOB to zero and feel the natural endless feedback of the old-school BBD delay.

Tape Echo
Tape Echo (55 ms - 552 ms) is based on the Tape Echo RE-201 algorithm with Nux Core Image technology. Use PARAMETER to adjust the saturation and feel the attenuation of the distorted sound. When you set the LEVEL and REPEAT to maximum, try setting the time knob to zero, and you'll get endless feedback and a pitch shift flanger.

Digi Delay
Digital delay (80 ms - 1000 ms) is based on a modern digital delay algorithm with a magic compressor and filter. After studying decades of the evolution of the delay algorithm, Nux noticed that musicians are not satisfied with the sound of mathematical digital delay. So they added a bit of a non-digital fragrance inspired by Strymon and Neunaber, making the sound much more musical.
PARAMETER controls the rigidity of repeated signals, so you can feel the unique compression filter.

MOD Delay
The MOD delay (20 ms - 1499 ms) is based on the Ibanez DML algorithm; strange and amazing modulation delay. This effect was released in the 80s with an experimental character. Nux chose the most wonderful aspects, emphasizing the modulation speed, offering a simple, seamless romantic tone.

VERB Delay
VERB delay (80 ms - 1000 ms) is a way to make the delay three—dimensional. As with Atlantic Delay & Reverb, Nux added Shimmer to the Plate reverb algorithm. This has become the iconic sound of Nux reverb. Inspired by Kit Tang, a famous Hong Kong studio guitarist, Jamtrackcentral artist, master of various reverberation parallels with different frequency ranges to add an authentic three-dimensional sound to his effect. Nux have combined parallel digital delay, plate reverb and various flicker filters to offer you an unsurpassed sacred atmosphere to explore.
PARAMETER controls the reverb and flicker mix.

LEVEL control: Controls the level of the delay mix. When using the ENTER LOOP mode, the LEVEL knob becomes the LOOP LEVEL to control the volume of the Phrase Loop.
Delay Type Selector: This is a 5-position rotary switch. You can choose the delay type: ANALOG, TAPE, DIGI, MOD. and VERB.
PARAMETER:
For Analog Delay, the PARAMETER controller controls the modulation depth. Zoom in to get a wider modulated sound.
For Tape Echo, the PARAMETER controller controls the saturation of the signal. Zoom in to get a richer and more distorted sound.
For Digi Delay, the PARAMETER controller controls the signal stiffness. Zoom in to get a more compressed and vivid sound.
For Mod Delay, the PARAMETER controller controls the modulation depth. Zoom in to get a wider modulated sound.
For Verb Delay, the PARAMETER control controls the level of the reverb and flicker mix. Zoom in to get more depth and a three-dimensional feel.
TIME 1: Controls the delay time delay1. In Tap Tempo mode, it becomes a division according to the current parameter.
REPEAT 1: Controls the number of repetitions of delay 1.
TIME 2: Controls the delay time of delay2. In Tap Tempo mode, it becomes a division according to the current parameter.
REPEAT 2: Controls the number of repetitions of delay 2.
TAP Footswitch: Tap this footswitch to adjust the speed and delay. You can set the target unit using the TIME 1 and TIME 2 knobs, then use the footswitch to adjust the speed. Hold the footswitch for 2 seconds to switch the current delay time between MS or BPM.
OLED display: Shows the current delay type and delay time in MS/BPM.
LOOP Mode: Simultaneously press the ON and TAP switches to enter/exit PHRASE LOOP mode. In LOOP mode, press the footswitch ON to activate REC/PLAY/DUB, and hold UNDO/REDO like a normal looper pedal. The OLED display shows the status of your phrase loop. The LEVEL control becomes LOOP LEVEL to adjust the volume of the phrase cycle. (The pedal will remember the current delay mixing level when entering LOOP mode). All other regulators operate independently as usual.

Input IN 1 (MONO): If you connect only to IN 1, then the signal IN 1 will trigger DELAY 1, associated with the handles TIME 1, and REPEAT 1 for OUT 1. The pedal will copy the IN 1 signal for DELAY 2 associated with the TIME 2 and REPEAT 2 knobs for OUT 2.
If you connect via IN 1 and IN 2, then IN 1 and IN 2 will run DELAY 1 for OUT 1 and DELAY 2 for OUT 2 separately.
Input IN 2: If you only connect to IN 2, then the signal IN 2 will trigger DELAY 2, associated with the handles TIME 2 and REPEAT 2 for OUT 2. The pedal will copy the IN 2 signal to trigger DELAY 1, associated with the TIME 1 and REPEAT 1 knobs for OUT 1.
If you connect to IN 1 and IN 2, then IN 1 and IN 2 will run DELAY 1 for OUT 1 and DELAY 2 for OUT 2 separately.
Output OUT 1 (MONO): The OUT 1 signal is associated with DELAY 1.
Output OUT 2: The OUT 2 signal is associated with DELAY 2.
USB Port: You can update the firmware via the USB port.
