The Humidifier Pro Acoustic Guitar Humidifier protects your guitar even in the driest conditions. The special sponge retains up to 12 times its weight in water (much more than a regular sponge), which allows you to extend the time between humidifier refills and increase protection against drying out in drier conditions. The dampener prevents cracks, fretboard distortion and compression of the wood of the instrument. Suspended from the strings, the humidifier evenly releases moisture inside the body of the guitar, but does not touch the instrument itself. Humidifier maintenance is reduced to wetting the sponge when it becomes dry.
