New Nylgut is a series of ukulele strings made of special patented nylon, consisting of three different components.In comparison with conventional nylon strings, New Nylgut strings have a better sound, do not stretch, and themselves hold the line better, and all thanks to the new material with a moisture absorption of less than 0.1% compared to the standard 2% for nylon.;
Due to the high density of the material, close to the density of the core strings (1.30 g/cm3), the sound of New Nylgut is less "metallic" than that of the so-called carbon strings.In other words, New Nylgut is probably the world's first synthetic string core.
