Previously, if you wanted to get a humbucker tone, a P90 tone, and a Strat tone, you would need three different guitars. But now the P-Rails humbucker delivers all three sounds in one pickup that easily replaces any standard-sized humbucker. Using any 3-way mini switch (on-off), each unique hybrid humbucker can be split for a super fat, true vintage P90, or split onto a Rail coil for a classic Strat-like tone.
By switching both coils you get a powerful sounding humbucker with excellent full punch. The neck version comes with RWRP winding, so you can use both P90s or both Rails together and achieve rumble suppression. Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, each P-Rails Universal Humbucker uses a pair of 5 bar alnico magnets, comes with 4-conductor cable for all wiring options, and is sealed with a vacuum wax sealant for squeal-free performance.
