Seymour Duncan's engineers have come to the conclusion that no less than three large ceramic magnets will have to be used to kindle the harsh metal hearts - to ensure maximum power and sustain in all high-gain situations. The special rewind coil design ensures incredible mid and high frequency clarity, while low frequencies remain controlled and focused. Black Winter is engineered to handle any guitar tuning, no matter how far down you go, and its vocalization delivers aggressive palm mute playing, smooth sweeps, and hard, lead-like big chord tones.

The Black Winter high-performance passive humbucker comes with a 4-wire lead wire for a variety of connection options and is vacuum waxed for squeak-free operation. All pickups are hand assembled at the Seymour Duncan factory in Santa Barbara, California. Included with each pickup you will find all the necessary fasteners and materials for quick and comfortable installation on the guitar.
