Technical features:
High performance with a powerful, unapologetic sound, the 7- and 8-string Active Mount Invader humbuckers provide a crushing metallic tone for extended-range guitars designed for active humbuckers.
Installing Invader changes the DNA of your guitar. No matter how dangerous your standard pickup is claimed to sound, Invader will turn your guitar into the vicious, heavy-sounding beast you always knew it could be. Invader's power is provided by a combination of specially wound coils, three large ceramic magnets and striking metal oxide tips. These unique tips enhance the overall magnetic field and expand the frequency spectrum, which is why every note played with Invader sounds so rich and massive. Ceramic magnets add depth and clarity, while large hexagonal caps ensure a smooth balance between the strings.
Invader provides the thickest and deepest low-frequency response of all the passive pickups that we produce. The chords sound almost subsonic at low settings, but they blend perfectly with crisp high frequencies, while maintaining the clarity of the sound. While the Invader bridge looks mean and vicious because it is evil and vicious, the Invader neck humbucker is surprisingly warm and smooth despite its intimidating appearance, and gives off a thick crunch and groaning sustain. This passive humbucker comes with a black soapbar cover with two rows of protruding hexagonal rods to give a modern active look that quickly fits on any 7- or 8-string guitar with an active pickup.
The Invader Active mount, handcrafted at our factory in Santa Barbara, California, is equipped with three large ceramic rod magnets, large metal oxide poles, a nickel silver bottom plate, a 4-wire lead wire for various connection options and is coated with vacuum wax to ensure smooth operation.
Our team of craftsmen is proud to develop our products to create the most amazing sound possible.
