Screamin’ Demon is a medium-power humbucker pickup designed to create a crisp 80s sound with a reduced mid-range.
The idea was to create a pickup that would have the distinct airiness of an old-school P.A.F., but with a lot of growling and hissing. We designed slightly twisted coils paired with a 5 bar alnico magnet and a set of pole tips that included one row of standard adjustable screws and one row of shorter hex screws. What you get is a loud, open timbre with an emphasis on high frequencies, which allows your peak attack to sound clear at any level of distortion.

Originally designed as a bridge pickup, the 10k Screamin’ Demon also works great as a neck pickup paired with a high-power bridge humbucker. Pair the Screamin’ Demon bridge with Model 59 or Jazz neck humbuckers to create a gorgeous 80s look.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, Screamin’ Demon medium output humbucker pickups use a 5 bar alnico magnet, a nickel silver bottom plate, a 4-wire lead wire for various connection options, are coated with vacuum wax to ensure trouble-free operation and are available with a standard distance between humbuckers or trembucker trembuckers.
