When the Jazz bass arrived, the music world was once again shocked by fantastic new tones and possibilities for the progressive bass community. These pickups are faithful recreations of the Jazz Bass single-coil pickups from the early 60's. Our Vintage Jazz Bass pickups stay true to the originals, delivering a warm sound with just the right amount of midrange.
The neck model is full sounding and brings a nice, rich low end without being boomy. The model is equipped with an RWRP coil, so when used in conjunction with a bridge pickup, it will not produce hum. The bridge model has a smooth, punchy sound and provides brightness that is the perfect balance for the warmer neck model.
The pickups are hand assembled in California. Our team of craftsmen take pride in crafting Seymour Duncan products to deliver the most amazing sound possible.
