For those who want precise, consistent sound from their pickups, the 5 String Stack Jazz Bass Passive Silent Pickups deliver vintage-style pickup and smooth response thanks to their design. The neck pickup has a subtle, warm character that works well as a standalone replacement. The real magic happens when paired with the bridge pickup, which is wired up for a clearer, punchier sound. When both pickups are used together, you get a great sound with little midrange rollover, ideal for slap playing.
This pickup uses a cap the size of a traditional 5-string Fender Jazz Bass, meaning it can be used on both 4- and 5-string instruments. However, it will NOT fit on a modern Fender Jazz V. Accepts string spacing up to 2.9″ (73.6mm) for both neck and bridge pickups. Combine the Neck with the 5-String Bridge Jazz Bass Stack for a perfectly matched package.
