Mono, stereo or multi-channel?

The iRig Pro Quattro works with all three at the flick of a switch. Stereo and Mono modes pre-mix up to 4 audio sources (RCA / 3.5mm (+ Loopback) line stereo inputs, XLR combo inputs and MEMS microphone) into a stereo or mono track that can be sent to the streaming application of your choice, digital camera or sound system.

When you switch to multi-channel mode, the XLR mic/Hi-Z and mic/line combo jacks or RCA/3.5mm stereo line inputs are routed to channels 1 through 4 respectively, giving you 4 channels of audio to send to recording applications such as GarageBand or any DAW.

Perfect recordings every time

In STEREO and MONO modes, inputs 3 and 4 can be used as safety channels: record the same signal as inputs 1 and 2, but reduced by 12 dB as a backup in case your audio source unexpectedly overloads the main channels. Always succeed in recording an important event.

Add effects with the Loopback+ function

Multichannel mode offers another advantage. Loopback+ is a powerful new feature that allows you to route one or both channels 3 and 4 to audio apps like MixBox, AmpliTube or VocaLive for processing, and then route their output through the Loopback function to channels 1+ 2 going into your streaming app.

Now you can actually use these apps on your iOS or Android device as an external processor for all your streaming apps. It's like using them as a plugin for more creative and professional sounding streams.
