With MK-012 you are provided with high quality recording at any distance, including the fact that the preamplifier circuit has no transformer, and the microphone itself is characterized by a low level of its own noise.

The second capsule, with a circular pattern, can be used when recording an orchestra or choir. A capsule with this pattern allows you to capture the whole sound picture.

The third capsule (cardioid directionality) is indispensable when recording a frontally located main sound source with the main source of noise on the rear side.

With small overall dimensions and weight of only 115 g the microphone has a sensitivity of 12-16 mV/Pa at 1 kHz and low noise level. The MK-012 is capable of recording loud sounds at a short distance: the maximum sound pressure level is 140 dB at 1000 Hz. Thus, it is suitable not only for recording guitar, piano, but also for recording percussion instruments or sounds of shooting, explosions in movie soundtracks.
