Octave MK-104 is a studio condenser microphone with a cardioid pattern and a new 27 mm diameter wide-membrane capsule with a gold-plated diaphragm. The modular design of the microphone allows for quick replacement of optional capsules and the use of the included attenuator.

The frequency response is characterized by smooth values in the upper middle of the spectrum due to the design of the microphone grille.

The microphone incorporates the high-frequency clarity and detail of narrow-diaphragm microphones while maintaining the smooth frequency response of wide-diaphragm capsules.

Directional characteristic close to cardioid and modular design (capsule, attenuator "-10 dB", amplifier) allow to use MK-104-H as the main microphone when recording vocals, as well as chamber and symphonic orchestras.
