The J5 set is the original EMG J set for 5-string bass guitar. This set was an instant hit with its wide harmonic overtones, punchy power and quiet operation. The EMG design has a very low resistance-to-inductance ratio, which increases low frequency response, while the rounded ceramic bar magnet ensures that the tone retains a tight mid-range punch with a dynamic response in the high frequencies.
