For this pickup we took a classic jazz tonal base and added some dynamics to it. These pickups sound slightly lower than traditional jazz pickups, with a more powerful sound and fuller lows than the original, delivering a sound without excessive treble sibilance. Hand-ground alnico 5 bar magnets and custom coil winding provide a warmer, fatter jazz bass tone with a lower midrange growl. The more aggressive attack of these pickups makes them great for all rock.
The neck pickup is wound with RWRP coil, so when used in conjunction with the bridge pickup it will cancel out the hum. These pickups will replace any American Standard jazz bass.
