The Pegasus/Sentient medium output humbucker pickup set offers progressive performers an unsurpassed palette of modern metallic tones. The Pegasus bridge was originally designed for instruments with an extended range. However, the 6-stringers immediately demanded that we offer a version that they could call their own. It uses a 5 bar alnico magnet and special winding characteristics. The goal was to achieve a warm, balanced, responsive and juicy sound for progressive metal. It is a harmoniously saturated pickup with outstanding midrange and focused low frequencies. The high resonant peak provides a sparkling top end and incredible chord bloom in high gain situations. A responsive and precise matching attack ensures that you can handle any live mix and keep a clear track of the transients in the studio environment. Because Pegasus has a moderate power output, it works for both pure tones and distorted ones.

The Sentient neck provides a balanced, versatile timbre that is perfect for our iconic '59 neck pickups and Jazz models. You will get impeccable cleanliness and smooth leads at high gain. Sentient is a very expressive vintage pickup with excellent dynamic response and a wide range of harmonics. It is great for low tunings on all guitars equipped with a humbucker.

Handcrafted at our factory in Santa Barbara, California, the Pegasus and Sentient medium output humbucker pickups are equipped with a 5 bar alnico magnet, a nickel silver bottom plate, a 4-wire lead wire for various connection options and are coated with vacuum wax to ensure smooth operation.
