The Antiquity P90 Dog Ear pickups use two specially calibrated alnico 2 bar magnets and custom neck and bridge coils to capture the sweet, vintage growl of the late 50's P90 ES-330 pickups. In the neck position, chords sound full and round, and single notes have a pleasant, elastic sound. In the bridge, chords sound with a raspy midrange sound, and single notes sound beautifully and articulately, without harshness. The neck pickup also has an RW/RP coil to reduce hum when paired with the bridge pickup. If you remove the hand-aged cover, you will find the same hand-crafted reel that was made in Kalamazoo in the early years.
