Mezdra carpenter's glue Method of preparation: Mezdra glue is poured with cold water and left to swell for 5-6 hours. Then the glue is heated in a water bath to a temperature of 60-70 °C. Despite the complexity of the preparation, the glue forms the most elastic layer and has been traditionally used for the manufacture of musical instruments for centuries. When properly glued together, it is very strong. It is quite fluid until it cools down. It dries into a solid structure, and is considered to be best suited for musical instruments, as it transmits vibrations without unnecessary losses.
