Bridge Pickup Seymour Duncan SJB-3b Quarter-Pound for Jazz Bass

Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups have it all: high power, great attack and massive tone. The 1/4" diameter poles and hot-wound coil ensure full, even response across all strings, with great sustain and complexity. These pickups perfectly reproduce the powerful tone of the instrument, and are suitable for any musical genre. You get higher coil output with extra winding, articulation and detailed vintage pickup highs.

We recommend using SJB-3 sensors in pairs. The neck coil features an RWRP (reverse wound/reverse polarity) design for noise suppression when used in conjunction with a bridge pickup. These pickups replace any stock pickup in the American Standard Jazz Bass. Standard Jazz Bass instruments made in Mexico vary in size and use two neck pickups.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, Quarter Pound Jazz Bass pickups use Alnico 5 bar magnets and a flat phorbon base. Also, all Quarter Pounds are filled with wax to prevent squeaking during operation. Each pickup comes with a black cover and all the necessary hardware and hardware for a quick installation on a bass guitar.
