By combining six pickups into one module, one customizable pickup for each string can be allocated. Six potentiometers allow you to precisely match the sound of the strings - customizing it just the way you want it. Pan control: 3D measurement in sound.
The left-most position of the knob creates a signal that sounds monophonic. Turning the knob to the right gently dilutes the sound of the strings into a panoramic sound.
This results in a depth of sound that didn't exist before. Moreover, adding effects such as chorus, delay, etc. to just the first strings creates a sound image that the ear perceives as three-dimensional and natural!
Separation of the sound of the strings in the rightmost position of the pan control knob:
- 6 E string - 100% left speaker
- 5 strings A - 75% left and 25% right speaker
- 4 string R and 3 string G - 50% left and 50% right speaker
- 2 string B - 25% left and 75% right speaker
- 1 E string - 100% right speaker.
Now you can apply the reverb effect to the first strings without applying it to the bass strings. This is the way it should happen.
Especially practical: No complicated sound system is required to get a unique sound. Simply connect the guitar with a standard cable to a mixer, adjust the panning by turning the knob left to right and you're in a whole new world of stereo sound.
Overdubbing: amazing possibilities.
We all know that when playing overdubbing (finger picking), the thumb often hits the bass strings harder than the middle and ring fingers hit the first strings. This causes the bass to dominate the overall sound and subdue the melody. The SH 4020 solves this problem too: with one easy movement, you can reduce the volume of the bass strings and balance the overall sound pattern at the speaker output.
An efficient three-band equalizer (bass, midrange and treble) optimally adjusts the sound to your personal preferences.
The Auto Chromatic Tuner guarantees precise tuning of the guitar. It works precisely, quickly and absolutely reliably.
The phase shifter eliminates all unwanted noise resulting from feedback.
