The leftmost position of the knob creates a signal that sounds monophonic. Turning the knob to the right gently divorces the sound of the strings into a panoramic sound.
Dividing the sound of the strings at the far right position of the pan knob:
- 6 E string - 100% left speaker
- 5 string A - 75% left and 25% right speaker
- 4 string R and 3 string G - 50% left and 50% right speaker
- 2 string B - 25% left and 75% right speaker
- 1 E string - 100% right speaker.
